Email-Postman was founded in 2019 by Shaun Reynolds. Here, Shaun tells his story of how he became involved in email marketing and how Email-Postman has evolved since then.
“My story with email marketing began in 2005 while working in the travel industry in Ashford, Kent, where I used ‘eblasts’ to communicate quickly and creatively with UK travel agents.
The company quickly saw how powerful email can be and over the years, I became the group’s go-to person for all things email marketing related. They wanted to expand their email marketing function and lead the change for other operators in the travel business.”
Started in banking
I left college and began my career by working in the banking industry for Alliance & Leicester, now Santander.
Where Email All Began
This is where it all started! I landed a role with a travel operator sending and reporting "eblasts" for the travel industry. I learnt a lot of skills here and after 10 years I was recognised as the group's email marketing expert.

I was head-hunted to become 'Email Marketing Manager' at Watchfinder, specialists in the sale of pre-owned luxury watches. I helped develop and implement a strong and successful email marketing strategy that they continue to use to this day.

After a strong few years at Watchfinder, I was actively recruited to ATG where I was in charge of running all of the Email Marketing for this global business.

After many years working for other companies, I decided it was time to be my own boss. Email-Postman was born and we've never looked back!
