When we launched in 2019, we were hopeful that Email-Postman would gather momentum. By the same token, we hoped we’d hit the ground running! In July 202, we celebrated helping our 40th client. We had both hit the ground running and were building momentum!
Now, in March 2023, just four years and a month since our launch, we’re celebrating our one-hundredth client!
Shaun Reynolds, founder of Email-Postman, stated, “I’m over the moon to have hit this huge milestone. It’s a fabulous feeling knowing that we have helped so many clients. Some have been short-term, where we’ve helped with a specific product launch or event. However, some of our clients are far longer term. We help them with their ongoing email marketing requirements; evidently, we’re pretty good at this!”
As an email marketing specialist, Email-Postman’s clients have come to them with various challenges around their email marketing. Sometimes, they simply wanted to boost their open rates and require an audit of their current processes. Another key issue was GDPR, especially when the UK left the EU. The technical aspects of using an email marketing platform have also prompted clients to get in touch. Other clients have wanted help with data organisation and cleansing.
Said Shaun, “Sometimes clients have needed the whole works, from setting up the platform from scratch through to importing and segmenting data. Conversely, some clients only wanted help with one aspect of email marketing or for just one specific campaign. We don’t mind, though; we’re here to help everyone!
Shaun also believes email marketing is becoming increasingly popular, triggered partly by COVID. During this time, some email marketing stats show as much as a 50% spike in the number of emails sent. Rather than seeing that negatively impact open rates, both open and engagement rates increased a couple of percent. Figures have remained higher since the lockdowns.
It’s all good news as far as Shaun’s concerned. “Email marketing has consistently delivered a higher return on investment than any other marketing channel. Statistics from numerous sources show that to be true. This can only be down to how targeted you can be; you can personalise and tailor your message incredibly well. Channels like social media give you zero control over who sees your message, whereas, conversely, email is entirely personalised. That is, if you’re doing it right!”
So, what’s next for the Email-Postman? The answer is obvious, according to Shaun. “One hundred clients – tick! Here’s to the next one hundred!” At this rate, Email-Postman will have achieved that before you know it!
